h Step running slow with a lot of samples and systematics

I was told it might be useful to open an issue for this problem that I am running into. When running the h step, it takes upwards of 30 minutes to run. I would like to be able to make pre- and post-fit histograms for a bunch of validation regions however the time it takes for h step to run makes this nearly impossible.

The config can be found at /afs/cern.ch/user/m/maharris/public/config/config.config. The ntuples are located in the /afs/cern.ch/user/m/maharris/public/vhww_ntuples directory.

Additionally, I have been using v1.4.0, but these issues have been present in previous tagged releases.

I have tested the config file, and it should work.
