Compilation fails with gcc 4.9.3 (was ACTS-248)

I was trying to update the lxplus build instructions in the readme and noticed a compilation error with a theoretically supported version of gcc ( see attachment) <^acts_error_log.txt> . The oldest gcc version I found that compiles the master is 5.4. Maybe just update the requirements?
