Trigger and/or pT cut in MC

Looking the cutflow from the histogram maker (e.g. link), the data and MC don't match until trigger and large-R jet pT cuts are applied. I think these cuts are being applied to data in the ntuple-making process. Adding these cuts to MC as well could potentially significantly reduce ntuple size.
