singularity on lxplus

we should probably add to the documentation that when using singularity on lxplus that one has to use a different SINGULARITY_CACHEDIR if not the home directory will be full almost immediately

this can be done via export SINGULARITY_CACHEDIR=/tmp/singu e.g. adding to the .bashrc using afs/work is also a possibility
