OK, I need to learn the actual differences between these modes. Yesterday I ran a quick timing test and saw that peeker
and full
take almost the same time (both slow), lite
and tiny
are much faster.
Do you have in mind any specific list of items you'd like to make available in lite
?
What do you think about moving */Parameters
over there?
Thanks.

The overlay code checks ALL parameters. For analysis and general jobs one usually just needs a subset and that should already be available in peeker
at least.
Maybe we should indeed consider making */Parameters
available in lite
?
Is this your code? I thought that you used the full
mode there exactly because */Parameters
metadata is retrieved only in this case, no?

You can get the rebased version from
git atlas init-workdir https://gitlab.cern.ch/princke/athena.git
cd athena
git remote add tstreble https://gitlab.cern.ch/tstreble/athena.git
git fetch tstreble
git checkout tstreble/triggerAnalysisSF
git push -f origin tstreble/triggerAnalysisSF:triggerAnalysisSF
self.makeTriggerGlobalEffCorrAlg(config, matchingTool, self.noEffSF)
This is unexpected. In the CA setup of CP algorithms I confirmed only peeker
is needed and I'm thinking to even demote some items to lite
so that that will be enough.
All good now, thanks
Thanks for explaining :) and how about now?

Hi @tstreble, should be ok now, I hope :)
