Mechanism to provide VFAT configuration files on the AMC
Summary
The format change of the VFAT configuration files on the AMC is foreseen in !11 (merged) We need to provide a way to create/update them after e.g. front end calibration. In the legacy software this was implemented with a couple of scripts. Not the best solution IMHO and anyway won't work with the new configuration files.
What is the expected correct behavior?
I think we should implemented the configuration files update in the cmsgemos, so that in future in can be
- synchronized with DB
- updated by calibration tools
- updated by UI Exact protocol and use-cases TBD.
