xmas::store crash

n XDAQ 6, when the xmas::store is pointed to a non-existing .store file, for example

{XDAQ_SETUP_ROOT}/{XDAQ_ZONE}/store/dummy.store

Instead of throwing an exception, the service fails to start with no useful error message. Attached is the gdb output & backtrace.
