The following steps can be followed to install a development CMSOS/CentOS8 platform. These instrutions are intended for developers that wish to gain some experience with CMSOS on a CC8 platform. Notice that XDAQv16 @ CC8 is not yet released being CC8 not supported yet in CMS P5 environment. In addition some external pckages like WinCCOA, Oracle Instance Client and DIP are not yet available. The use of this version is expected for run-3. Only development RPMs for core and partial worksuite are currently available.
