Failure of Gaudi Test "GaudiExamples.root_io.reproducible_write" in LCG Nightly Stack

Dear all,

We have encountered a failure in the Gaudi test "GaudiExamples.root_io.reproducible_write" (options/ROOT_IO/Write.py) in the LCG nightly stack "dev3" with the following package versions:

Gaudi-master
ROOT-HEAD
DD4hep-master

This failure only occurs on the x86_64-centos9-gcc11-opt platform and was observed on Sunday and Tuesday, but not Monday.

Attached to this report are the log files for both failures.

P.S. Running 'diff' on these two logs shows that there is no difference in the printed event.
