lb-dev simple project fails to compile

As reported in https://mattermost.web.cern.ch/lhcb/pl/9sy7oa479pfktk7b9ohi7xhygo and https://mattermost.web.cern.ch/lhcb/pl/1o8yzgaq83bs7eyyhgjqu68aee an lb-dev project does not compile out of the box

$ lb-dev Bender/v35r5

$ cd BenderDev_v35r5
$ make
...
