Understand increased ghost track rate in 2024 MC samples

An increase in ghost track rate is observed in the expected 2024 MC samples, in particular for the velo tracking it increases from 0.9% to 2.2%.

In addition, the hit efficiency for long tracks is reduced from around 97% in the old sample to around 93% in the new sample.
