issues in xrootd-client installation on alma10

While testing HEP_OSlibs installation on alma10 (in the context of documenting the installation as discussed in #16 (closed)), I found some issues on WSL. I opened a bug on https://github.com/xrootd/xrootd/issues/2647.

When that problem is clarified, there might be something to be added to the documentation.
