Ensure that global reset returns the board into a known good state

The calo board seems to have gotten stuck in a bad state around 14:45 on 24 October. Debugging was made harder because no symptoms other than stuck DMA transfers were seen and the board crucially didn't recover when reset. Only a full reload of the firmware helped in the end.

We should make sure a global reset indeed resets the board entirely.
