Reintroduced parts of the Qt 4.8.4 patch in order to get Qt 4.8.7 to build

Unsurprisingly, many of the problems that prevented Qt 4.8.4 to build on ubuntu1404-gcc48 are still present in Qt 4.8.7, although sometimes in a slightly different form.

This merge request contains a port of the minimal subset of the Qt 4.8.4 patch that is necessary in order to get Qt 4.8.7 to build on this target with C++11 support enabled.

Changed the timeout value of the /tmp/the.lock to see if errors are real timeouts or something else.
