Dumping variables for lepton overlap removal
As we talked about the dR issue here: delta_R_issue.pdf, it would be desirable to turn off the lepton overlap removal during dumping and rather dump some dR variables to hand control over this to umami.
As was suggested in a first step to dump these variables per jet:
- dR to closest (reconstructed) lepton
- dR to closest prompt truth lepton
- dR to closest non-prompt truth leptons
- number of truth muons within dR < 0.4
- number of reconstructed muons within dR < 0.4
- number of prompt leptons
- number of non-prompt leptons
If the number of prompt muons is negligible, don’t need to go further otherwise the cleanest solution would be to store the leptons separately in another container (like tracks) and process downstream in umami, leptons will be decorated with flags in dumper with overlap information (dR < 0.3 and dR < 0.4).
