Address seg fault in ATLASSIM-4490

Michael Duehrssen-Debling requested to merge mduehrss/athena:FastSimExtrapolation_ATLASSIM_4490 into master

This merge request addresses the seg fault seen in ATLASSIM-4490. The problem was that the return of the extrapolation method pointed to an entry in the cache, which was deleted after the end of the extrapolation. To be tested if the fix creates a memory leak.
