overwrite McEventCollection for afterburner setups

Christian Gutschow requested to merge cgutscho/athena:UpdateHepMCforAfterburner into 21.6

With many thanks to Scott Snyder for suggesting a method to achieve a memory-leak free update of the existing McEventCollection in StoreGate for afterburner setups in EVNT-to-EVNT workflows.

Needed for AGENE-2044.
