@pberta and @rmazini, I doubt that the same reference output files will work in 22.0-mc20 and master branch at the same time. Both branches have diverged as can be seen e.g. be the muon and egamma differences of https://gitlab.cern.ch/atlas/athena/-/blob/master/Tools/PROCTools/data/master_q431_AOD_digest_500events.ref and https://gitlab.cern.ch/atlas/athena/-/blob/22.0-mc20/Tools/PROCTools/data/master_q431_AOD_digest_500events.ref
