remove MM hits from channels that are not connected to the detector

In the MM, some electronic channels are not connected to a readout strip in the detector. Since these channels sometimes still have hit data leading to warnings about invalid identifiers in reconstruction, this MR rejects hits from these channels before they are converted into and RDO.
