Use builtin helper function for compatibility with Geant4 11.1

This is a trivial fix to support compiling current Athena main against the latest Geant4 (needed for work on supporting/modernizing the simulation to use the newer versions). It has no side effects/problems when compiled agains the current production Geant4 version.
