This reverts merge request !71320 (merged)

The legacy config is still in use in https://gitlab.cern.ch/atlas/athena/-/blob/24.0/PhysicsAnalysis/D3PDMaker/CaloD3PDMaker/python/CaloCellD3PDObject.py?ref_type=heads#L102 so this will need to be adapted to CA first.
