Comm Wrapper Fix for many creations

I am suggesting the following change for the OptoBoard software. This makes the software slighlty faster and stops un-necessary updates. This also makes the code compatible for the itk-felix-sw version of the ic-over-netio without any big changes necessary anywhere else.

I have tested and it didn't cause any issues (and shouldn't have)
