Undo MR 167

With the recent added endcap MRs, powertools can no longer compile when building the sdcard firmware, see https://gitlab.cern.ch/berkeleylab/pbv3_test_adapter/firmware/-/jobs/31672792. I suspect that this is due to the change in !167 (merged), so I'm undoing it to see if it fixes the issue.
