So, run2-patches is not affected as expected, while master "breaks" (as expected). I'll prepare the MRs to fix that.

there was a second case of silently catching a parsing exception (that costed us debugging time), so let's get this merged soon if possible.

@clemenci pre-commit wants me to reformat a lot of files here. Do you know why?

It's because the master branch of your fork is old so the ci job (which is not too clever) sees many more changes than what the MR sees.

thanks, fixed. Isn't there a way to compare to the upstream (gaudi/Gaudi) master and not my master which I never ever update?

Rec is now fine in lhcb-gaudi-head , Phys has problems due to !1258 (merged)
