2016 BKG MC for double Dalitz B02DKPi Analysis

This analysis will measure the CKM angle \gamma using B^0 \to (D^0 \to (K_s^0 \to \pi^+ \pi^-) h^+ h^-) K^+ \pi^- decays and their complex conjugates where h is either a charged K or \pi. These will be accompanied by a variety of other decays where the B decay remains the same but the D decay changes final states. The other D final states that we will study are of the form HH, HHHH, Pi0HH where H can be a charged kaon or pion. All decays included have been deemed necessary for the analysis and are not excessive. Since we do not currently plan to use the Pi0HH modes in our analysis we will be omitting them from this run of the AP.

This run of the AP will collect 16 BKG MC. We have previously obtained the data and signal MC for all years (11,12,15,16,17,18) and the 2011, 17, 18 background MC. There will be at least one more production to acquire MC samples we missed on our first time round and some that require restripping. Instructions to recreate the settings used for previous runs of the AP can be found in the README.MD

Instructions

When creating your merge request:

  • Add a label for your WG
  • Mark as "WIP:" until you're happy with the CI results

When ready:

  • Remove the "WIP:" from the title:
  • Assign the merge request to you working group's DPA/RTA liaison
