Revert "Merge branch 'sponce_onlinePhoenix' into 'master'"

This reverts merge request !331 (merged)

Now that master branch has been made up to date with online, we can go back to master.

@rmatev, this can probably go through without further testing (I've tested it locally), providing that the only usage is in the phoenix_dump dd4hep test that is anyway failing for other reasons (problems of FT bank versions)
