@cattanem was there a reason to add the all-slots label? I suggest to trigger a ci-test to disentangle the changes in this MR from other MRs with all-slots label.

@dovombru This "fixes" two failing tests by removing them. I checked long ago that it had the desired effect and I thought it useful to make the Alignment tests green(er). I am a bit annoyed that this sat around for so long without it being merged, given how trivial it is. But do feel free to remove the label (you will get two additional failing tests as a result....)
