Process # of events requested w/o specifying number of events per slice or number of slices

When processing for example ./Allen -f /scratch/lbian/smog/ -g /scratch/lbian/detector_configuration/smog/ -n 2000 -c 1 only 1000 events are processed (see attached log). This should be fixed to process the 2000 events requested.
