Implement contracts for geometry and readout map versions

  Should this to do also be addressed in the next MR? In any case I suggest to open an issue with the remaining points that we postpone from this MR.

Context: raw bank versions are read out from input files, while geometry and readout map versions can be parsed from database tags (?). It needs to be seen how this can be done and how the versions can be passed along and checked against each other.
