Make VP A and C side more explicit with an enum struct

Following LHCb!4523 (merged) where a confusion between A and C side appeared we discussed it may be best to make the A and C side explicit with a struct instead of an int.

This MR goes together with Rec!3877 (merged) and LHCb!4523 (merged)
