@zexu , you might want to update also this in your pending MR?

Make Gauss->Boole step working and have a wrapped from MCHit::sensDetID to retrieve station/layers without loading deFT detector in algorithms downstream.

Part of the MR is probably included already in the one from @zexu

SystemID number ID number is 10 atm, which is the same as MP, to be changed?
