I noticed that the tests are running very slowly today, so I did a local test. For the Gauss run3 job output, the counters are consistent. I see that @msaur triggered a new test. Let's wait for the test results. If the new test doesn't complete on time, I think at least the local test provided me with some information, and these changes should be fine for the simulation.
