@tlatham This is probably beyond the scope of this update but a lot of the numbers are to full 64 bit precision at text strings for measurements that can not use that precision (you have distance measurements defined to about 10^-19 m or 10^-17 deg in angle precision which I think is beyond what we can measure).

Otherwise it looks OK, I do not know how I should go about testing this for overlaps though. I assume GEANT generates events OK without tracks getting stuck.

@tlatham , I think you would also need to update the trunk version to match the things you have in 2025-v00.00, right?
