@flemaitr should we do the same fix on run2-patches branch? If so, can you please submit a separate MR, this one does not cherry pick cleanly to that branch

I checked, the VectorConfiguration.h file does not exist on run2-patches. So there is no need to apply this patch on that branch.

If this file is needed, we would need to cherry pick more commits.
