Hello @clemenci, cc @decianm and @cmarinbe, what is the plan for this set of important MRs? It already contains some big improvements for config. Shall we merge the set by the end of the day? Next week we can create follow-ups and so on ... I would not keep these open for too long. Thanks.

@erodrigu, I would like to have a MR in Detector and in LHCb for UT merged in 2024-patches before merging this, @cagapopo as far as I can see the tests are now ok for them...

Sounds find to me @gcorti as long as it does not take took long. It's worth adding the "dependency" to the header IMO .

I assign @cagapopo in any case so that this does not get forgotten.
