WIP: Possible fix for data race in GeometryInfoPlus (LHCBPS-1722).

I do not like this patch because it slows down MiniBrunel/HLT1Only a lot. Someone has a better idea?

The patch does not get rid of all crashes in my MiniBrunel setup. But the next crashes and data races I see seem to be elsewhere (in Rec libTrackTools).
