Software Shifter Summary 17/02/20-01/03/20

Summary

The shift went smoothly during the last two weeks except that the nightlies web page and gitlab went down for two days.

There were more than 64 MRs merged to master since this shift was started across LHCb, Lbcom, Rec, Brunel, Phys and Moore. I might miss some MRs related to run2 patches.

There were new release for Moore v51r0, Phys v31r0, Analysis v31r0, Brunel v61r0, Rec v31r0.

The master branch is healthy for the main RTA projects on x86_64-centos7-gcc9 and x86_64-centos7-clang8, but there are a few test failures on the x86_64+avx2 platform.

Thanks to @rmatev and @rjhunter for all the introductions and help, and to all the developers who helped me a lot by checking and confirming the test differences with effective discussions. Sorry about the troubles due to my mistakes.

The next shifter will be @sakar.

Summary of Open MRs

There are currently 153 open MRs targeting masters, with 71 marked as WIP. About 34 MRs have passed the test and are ready to be merged. About 47 un-WIP-ed MRs are in test, in further discussion, or need review from experts.
