Follow-up from "Workaround for ROOT-15030"

To avoid conflicts with !2095 (closed) (because they touch several of the same lines), !2134 (merged) includes the revert of the workaround in !1961 (merged).

Once !2134 (merged) is merged we can close !2095 (closed), but we should keep this issue open because Cling still has problems with std::variant and we still work around them -- see here.

@clemenci: are you aware of any other (remaining) workarounds than the one that LHCb!3433 (merged) removes? If not, then I could label LHCb!3433 (merged) as closing this issue...
