@lecarus: why do you keep merging the master with the MR? The only effect of doing so is to complicate the git history. I've instead rebased this MR on top of master, which results in the same 'tip' of the branch, but with only the two original commits, and with a trivial linear history instead of a repeatedly entangled set of extra commits....
