@rvazquez Is this using the new, threadsafe histograms? From a quick look it seems that no.

In addition, I don't like that the Muon monitoring is under MuonPIDChecker. Can checkers (i.e. using MC information) and monitors (not using MC information) be separated?

@decianm I don't think so. I will implement the thread-safe version. Ok, I'll move the algorithms to some Monitor directory.
