Inclusive selection of double open charm decays using a recent update of the DfromB BDTs

Target stream: CharmCompleteEvent
The line selects proto-B candidates by vertexing two open charm hadrons. Combinations of the following OC decays are built:

  • D0 -> K- pi+
  • D+ -> K- pi+ pi+
  • Ds+ -> K+ K- pi+
  • Lc -> p K- pi+
  • Xic+ -> p K- pi+
  • Xic0 -> p K- K- pi+
  • Omegac0 -> p K- K- pi+ (using a tighter Xic0 BDT cut)

In total, there are 56 different (excl. charge conjugation) proto-B combinations.
