Make CI script to work with new gitlab privileged runners.

    The new privileged runners are not able to push the resulting docker images to the gitlab registry.

    I am not really sure we need the generated images? As far as I can see they are never used?

        It's probably because this is done in after_script and this behaves differently than in the shell runner used before. Anyway it was not a good place because after_script cannot be used for long-running tasks and times out after a few minutes.

        Since we remove pushing the images to gitlab registry, closing.
