Refactor of base-scripts
I started looking into bdaq53
a little closer and found, that various parts of the base-scripts are in "bad-shape" when in comes to readability, documentation and code style. Therefore, I plan to refactor these scripts, script by script, where each refactor/script will get an individual branch. The aim of these refactors is
- Increase readability
- Add documentation
- Decrease LOC
- Use language-specific designs to reflect underlying code structure (aka more "pythonic" code)
- Add API
What these refactors don't do:
- Change existing API or break the tests
I will refer to this issue in each MR that is connected to the refactoring. I will make MR against the development
branch and require 1 or 2 maintainers as reviewers.
