If one wants to use the different ACTS plugins, the list of dependencies becomes already long. Unfortunately, it is not trivial to find pre- installed versions with consistent compiler settings. Therefore, ACTS provides docker images with the whole software stack installed. These should simplify the setup for an ACTS development environment immensely.
