TQTable confused by comments
I came across a case where a cross section parser somehow gets the number of columns wrong if the XSec file starts with a comment. I assume that this has to do with how TQTable recognizes the number of columns.
For a file that starts with
# This file contains a list of DSIDs and their cross section and serves as a comprehensive example.
# If you happen to find a mistake in this file, please report it, because a version of this file
# is used for the HWW analysis.
SampleID , xsection , kfactor , filtereff , uncertainty , mh , generator , process , simulation
# Units on xsection in this file are in nb, not the default pb! You MUST specify this correctly in your analyze step.
the code sees two columns. Using the getEntryPlain
method to retrieve the entries in the first row, I get the entries SampleID
and path
.
