Respect both makeLin/LogPlots & histogram-specific style.logScale

Tae Hyoun Park requested to merge improve-linlog-plotting into master

We will both make a plot-lin/log.pdf if makeLin/LogPlots is detected in the visualize config, as well as a plot.pdf with histogram-specific lin/log scaling if histogramPlots is detected. Both linear by default.

Following suggestion by @agavrily -- is this what you had in mind? Please try it out and give feedback! :)
