This MR fixes a few inconsistencies between ATLAS and non-ATLAS running, between running with RooFitUtils and without, and removes a bit of dead code.

Also, the default behavior of the TQFolder $replace syntax is changed from assuming a .:* filter to assuming a *:* filter, which is the more commonly used variant.
