Muon sim hits in MDT were not being recorded in the MDTSimHitCollection because they failed the drift tube radius <15.075 check. This was caused by using residual instead of actual drift radius. As you can see from the log file, the new driftRadius is the correct value to use, while the residual is too large in all cases. This is the same expression used in https://acode-browser1.usatlas.bnl.gov/lxr/source/athena/MuonSpectrometer/MuonDigitization/MDT_Digitization/src/MdtDigitizationTool.cxx?v=21.3 , if you apply deformations and don't apply wire sagitta correction. I admit this is the simplest change I can think of, but it may not be what we want to use in the end.
