make nc_mergeScript configurable in PrunDriver

Nils Erik Krumnack requested to merge krumnack/athena:grid_custom_merge into 21.2

Based on user request, this should allow users to provide their own merge script if desired. This mechanism may change in the future, but for now it should allow reasonable amounts of customization.
