Whitespace/indentation clean-up of MetaReader python code

John Derek Chapman requested to merge jchapman/athena:MetaReader_whitespace into master

Many tests in the master--py3 nightly fail due to python TabErrors in MetaReader.py. This patch attempts to get around this problem.
